The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The measurements you type are never sent anywhere: there is no server to send them to, because every page here is a static file.

What the calculators do with your measurements

Nothing leaves your browser. The arithmetic happens in JavaScript on the page, and no measurement is transmitted, logged or stored on any server.

Two things are kept locally on your own device, and only locally:

• Your preferences — whether you read in metric or imperial, which cutting increment your shop uses, and light or dark theme. These are stored in your browser's local storage so the site does not ask again. Clearing your browser data removes them.
• Your inputs, in the address bar. As you type, the page URL updates to encode the measurements, so you can bookmark or share a calculation. This is visible to you in the address bar and is not sent to us — but be aware that if you paste that link somewhere, the measurements travel with it.

Analytics

Where analytics are enabled, they are used to see which tools people find useful and which searches bring them here. No measurement you enter is included in any analytics event.

Cloudflare Web Analytics, if enabled, is cookieless and aggregate-only — it sets nothing on your device and cannot identify you. Google Analytics, if enabled, sets cookies and is subject to the consent controls described below.

Advertising

This site currently carries no advertising and loads no advertising script. It is intended to be funded by advertising in future. When that happens this section will be replaced with a full description of the cookies used and the consent mechanism, and that description will be published before any ad tag is loaded — not afterwards.

Cookies

FabricMeasure sets no cookies of its own. Any cookie you encounter here comes from an analytics or advertising provider named above, under the consent rules described there.

Your rights

Since no personal data is collected or stored by this site, there is generally nothing to request access to or deletion of. For data held by Google as an analytics or advertising provider, their own privacy policy and controls apply.
